Susan's House Eilat

Susan’s House Eilat was established in 2014 to commemorate the memory and vision of Susan and Eyal Kaplansky, who believed that it is possible to help the rehabilitation of at-risk youth through art. Susan’s House employs at-risk local youth between the ages of 15 -18, among them disconnected youth, youth in house arrest and youth in other high-risk situations. The boys (and girls) create special household and decorative items from ceramics.
The youth at the workshop are guided by a professional team including Therapeutic guides, social workers and artists. while participating in our activities, our kids develop professional abilities, life skills, self-esteem and confidence, community values ​​and interpersonal relationships.
Last but not least, rehab’ is not complete without selling the products, for the trade (kind of) gives our staff “value” threw their work and the price for their production.
