Gidon Ariel is back on the Running Wagon!
| Published: October 11, 2021
Over the past fifteen or so years, Gidon has been running 10 kilometer tracks off and on. The marathon (an half marathon, and quarter marathon:-) culture is pretty developed here in Israel, and there are dozens of such official runs all over the country throughout the year. Some of them are utilized by charitable causes to encourage the runners and their friends to support the causes.
This month, I am running for two causes: “Roots” in Gush Etzion (between my home and Jerusalem), and “Crossroads” in the Jerusalem Marathon.
I have pledged to raise $250 for Roots, which is an organization dedicated to dialogue between Arabs and Jews in Israel and especially Judea and Samaria (the West Bank); and $500 for Crossroads, which provides programs for teens and young adults at risk in Israel.
Please help me reach my goals!
