Pastor Conrado Lumahan

Rev. Conrado Lumahan  Assemblies of God in the Philippines
Christians for Israel Philippines
City of San Fernando La Union, Philippines

What is the main focus of your activities today?
Not to include my role as Assistant General Superintendent (Deputy National Bishop) of the Assemblies of God with over 3,000 churches and as Head Pastor of All Gospel Church, I only focus on Christians for Israel International (C4II). As Asia Regional Trainer for C4II, I travel all over Asia conducting Standing With Israel Meetings (SWIM) to different denominations and churches. We encourage participants to biblically stand in solidarity with Israel and practically extend helps to the Jews, God’s covenant people.

How long have you been doing that?
As Director of C4IPhilippines more than 10 years and Regional Trainer for CC4IAsia, 5 years.

What are some of the successful related programs or projects that you have done this year and in past years?
C4IPhilippines helped in the following: We are involved in supporting Aliyah in Ukraine and India, we had fed Jews in Ukraine, planted trees in Israel.

How did you get to where you are today?
In 2012 I attended the First Christians for Israel International in Kuala Lumpur, and I was so enlightened.

What is your “testimony”?
My Testimony
In 2012, I was invited by Rev. Wilson Ng to attend the First Christians for Israel International (C4II) Conference in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. In one of the lectures of Rev. Willem J.J. Glashouwer, President of C4II, I was so touched and broken before God, repenting of my sin of replacement theology. At that time, I was already pastoring a church for 33 years, but I never preached a single message about Israel. I was teaching in our Bible College and preaching in churches that the Church is the new Israel, that God has replaced Israel with the Church, and that all the blessings intended for Israel were transferred to the Church and all the curses for Israel. I went home transformed from my spiritual blindness, with a new revelation.
I started reading and preaching the trilogy of Rev. Glashouwer – Why Israel? Why Jerusalem? and Why End Times? We integrated 30 minutes Prayer for Israel in our pre-Church Worship Services every Sunday. We encouraged our church members to give offerings for Israel. And our church had started setting aside certain amount for Israel every Sunday. Whenever I was invited to preach in the Philippines, I always encouraged denominational leaders, pastors and church leaders to biblically stand in solidarity with Israel, to pray for the Jews as mandated in Psalm 122:6, and to collect offerings for Aliyah and help feed Jews in Ukraine and in India, and to plant trees in Israel.
In 2015 I was designated by C4II as C4I Philippines director and in 2017, Regional Trainer for C4I Asia. As an Assistant General Superintendent of the Assemblies of God with over 3,000 churches in the Philippines, I travelled all over the country to preach in the Conventions and Conferences. I gradually corrected our teaching that the Church had replaced Israel. And many pastors were enlightened. Some churches started collecting offerings for Aliyah and praying for Israel.
One night as I was praying and preparing to preach in Medan, Sumatra, Indonesia, I came to understand my ministry. I called it Standing With Israel Meeting (SWIM). SWIM is C4I Philippines’ ministry. Wherever I go – local or global, I always do SWIM. I conducted SWIM in Australia, Brazil, Latvia, Norway, and all over Asia. I always teach the 12 Reasons for Standing With Israel. This a chapter of my book, The Menorah and The Cross: The Glory and Shame of the Chosen Ones. The goal of SWIM is the goal of C4II – enlightening the heads of people about Israel, touching their hearts to love and pray for the children of Israel, and moving their hands to action by getting involved in the Aliyah, and some other projects.

What do you think God is doing with regard to Jewish-Christian relations?
I think God is deepening the roots of relationship between Jews and Christian. They are both two flocks of one Shepherd.
