What is the main focus of your activities today?
Proactively telling Israel’s story
How long have you been doing that?
seven years.
What are some of the successful related programs or projects that you have done this year and in past years?
Serving as a leading member of the Knesset Christian Allies Caucus to work with Christian members of parliament around the world to be supportive of Israel in their parliaments, speaking to thousands of students and adults from Jewish and Christian backgrounds about the prophecies coming true in our times and inspiring them to understand that with the blessing we have been given to live in these momentous times, they must make Israel must be an integral part of their lives, traveling the world to try to inspire people to make aliyah
How did you get to where you are today?
God’s grace
What is your “testimony”?
My grandmother arrived in Auschwitz in May 1944. That night her parents, some siblings, and many nieces and nephews were murdered. She survived that hell, got married, and lived to see great-great grandchildren with all her descendants committed to Judaism and serving God. And she was blessed to see her grandson sworn in as a member of Knesset and her great-grandson become a commander in an elite IDF combat unit – just 70 years after her liberation. Only God can make that happen. 35 years ago I was a young teenager demonstrating outside the Soviet Embassy on behalf of Russian Jews who were arrested for wanting to move to Israel. I held up a sign that said “Free Yuli Edelstein.” Yuli was languishing away in a prison cell in Siberia at the time. 30 years after that moment I was blessed to be sworn in as a member of Knesset and the man elected to be the Speaker of the Knesset was Yuli Edelstein. Only God can make that happen. We are living in a time of open miracles and prophecies coming true and thank God, people of faith around the world can put aside their differences, see God’s hand and blessings, and rally together for Israel and to fill the world with spirituality.
What do you think God is doing with regard to Jewish-Christian relations?
One of God’s greatest miracles is the newfound love between Jews and Christians. He has enabled us to put aside a dark history and focus on that which unites us. I believe that God is shining His grace on this partnership as He promised He would do in Genesis 12 and that we have only just begun…
