Every once in a while we take on a hot topic and try to explore it in a judicious manner. The time has come to take a careful look at what is commonly referred to as “The Ten Tribes”, “Two House theology”, “Commonwealth theology” and/or the Ephraimite movement.
I, Bob, first met Al McCarn when he interviewed me this past Spring on his radio show regarding the Nation’s 9th of Av. He became very interested in the work we were starting, and he ended up putting a lot of personal time and energy in helping us get the word out, even influencing various leaders in his circle of influence. Not only that, he also strongly recommended that everyone involved in his own organization find a way to participate in observing this year’s 9th of Av. We didn’t ask him to do any of that!
Recently, I decided that I wanted to learn more about where this man is coming from, especially given that his organization: Bney Yosef North America, touches on a topic that we have never publicly explored here at Root Source.
In part one, we hear the story of a man who grew up in a typical Christian home who dreamed of becoming an Army officer. But, when the world changed on 9/11 in 2001, Al McCarn had already been changed on the inside out because of a decision he had made to study the Bible in a whole new way. Listen and watch as this man grows from being a “centurion” to “something more” in God’s plan. Part 1 of 4. (29:39)
Because of the length of this entire interview we present it in both audio and video formats. Video format here:
NOTE: When you hear about what was his bible study method near end of this interview segment, IF YOU HAVE DONE THAT ALSO, will you please write me? I told him during the interview that he was the only person I ever met who had done such a thing!
