Every once in a while we take on a hot topic and try to explore it in a judicious manner. The time has come to take a careful look at what is commonly referred to as “The Ten Tribes”, “Two House theology”, “Commonwealth theology” and/or the Ephraimite movement.

I, Bob, first met Al McCarn when he interviewed me this past Spring on his radio show regarding the Nation’s . He became very interested in the work we were starting, and he ended up putting a lot of personal time and energy in helping us get the word out, even influencing various leaders in his circle of influence. Not only that, he also strongly recommended that everyone involved in his own organization find a way to participate in observing this year’s 9th of Av. We didn’t ask him to do any of that!

Recently, I decided that I wanted to learn more about where this man is coming from, especially given that his organization: Bney Yosef North America, touches on a topic that we have never publicly explored here at Root Source.

In part one, we hear the story of a man who grew up in a typical Christian home who dreamed of becoming an Army officer. But, when the world changed on 9/11 in 2001, Al McCarn had already been changed on the inside out because of a decision he had made to study the Bible in a whole new way. Listen and watch as this man grows from being a “centurion” to “something more” in God’s plan.

In part two, Al McCarn tells how he learned about Two House theology and explains exactly what it is in a very clear way to Root Source interviewer Bob O’Dell.

In part 3, Bob O’Dell of Root Source clarifies with Al McCarn of BYNA how he sees the “grafting into Israel,” how he reconciles the new covenant with Commonwealth or Two House theology. Then Bob asks Al to respond to some of the concerns that the Jews of Israel have with these ideas.

In part 4, Bob O’Dell of Root Source asks Al McCarn of BYNA how he reacts to concerns from Messianic Jews to Two House theology. Then Bob asks what is the size of this movement, and what are the future plans of his organization. (1:52:43)
