Talkline With Zev Brenner on a Yeshiva For Christians who want to Learn Torah with Gidon Ariel

Zev Brenner interviews Gidon Ariel, the founder of Root Source, an organization aimed at teaching Torah and Jewish thought to Christians. Described as an online Yeshiva for Christians, Root Source’s mission is to enhance understanding and friendship between Jews and Christians. Gidon Ariel, originally from Queens, New York and now based in Israel, initiated this project after engaging with supportive Christians towards Israel.

The program has attracted over 50,000 Christian learners globally, with more than 20 Israeli Jewish educators teaching various subjects. These include Jewish history, Hebrew, and insights into Torah, with the goal of deepening Christians’ connections to the Jewish foundations of their faith.

Root Source is funded mainly through donations from the Christian community. The organization aims to broaden its outreach, particularly among younger demographics, by enhancing its online and social media presence.
