As you may know, Root Source CEO Gidon Ariel lives in Maale Hever, a small village suburb of Hebron.

While normally, life there is just that, normal, from time to time there are terror attacks, and on Monday August 21 one hit close to home.

Here is what Gidon wrote on his Facebook wall:

Sadly, tragically, about 30 mins ago there was a terrorist shooting attack a few kilometers from my home. One woman was killed and a man was seriously injured. That’s pretty much what is released as of now. My family is OK.

and later that evening:

A few days ago, the Community Director of our community had lunch with her husband. Yesterday he was shot by a terrorist (twenty five bullets!) while driving to go shopping or some other mundane errand. Thankfully, he was only seriously hurt, both arms, legs and shrapnel to his face. He is currently in the hospital, awaiting another surgery. His neighbor, who he was giving a ride to, was not so lucky and she died from her wounds on the spot.

Our life in the Hebron Hills region is a blessing, but sometimes a blessing in disguise.
