It is almost time for Israeli elections, and I want to help you to better understand Israel's somewhat unique political system.

One of the difficulties in understanding Israeli politics is the huge number of political parties in the Knesset, Israel's parliament.

In the presentation on Sunday, I simplified the situation by showing that the parties fit into 4 main political blocs. It is the political blocs that determine the direction of Israeli politics, more than any one party.

I also explained which parties fall into which bloc(s), which will help you start to see the political "forest" based on the individual party "trees".
