Here were a few shots I took that day we visited the Knesset. Here is a menorah like no other.

Here is the entrance to the Speaker’s office. Unlike other offices, you cannot just walk in freely to this one.

Now in another part of a Knesset we make our way to the Synagogue for Gidon’s mid-day prayers. Here is Gidon about to go in.

I follow Gidon and Gidon allows me to snap a quick photo as people are filing in.

The person behind the desk is Knesset Speaker Yuli Edelstein! It is traditional for the highest ranking person to lead the prayers. However, everyone is welcome. Later the room was full with MKs, the Speaker, and people working in maintenance and security were all participating in the prayers. It was great to see everyone equally welcome.

The Knesset also has a Mosque for the Arab MKs. Many people forget that Israel has Arab representation in the Knesset as well. We didn’t go to the Mosque, but here was a sign showing the way.

After we left I tried to get one quick shot of the Knesset building. It was tilted because Gidon was calling to me to hurry up and come to the car!
