Jewish prayer runs the gamut of human experience. In this lesson, Gidon Ariel discusses  Asher Yatzar – Thanks for bodily systems, including and especially after using the restroom.

This is often considered to be the least spiritual of all the prayers. But is it really?

Bob's Application: Gidon's lessons is a great reminder to us to pray prayers at the place where heaven and earth meet. Nothing is hidden from God. I think our application from this lesson is pretty clear – coming to God in prayer at this moment in time – and instead of thinking about what we must do next in 'our' day, but just a simple thanks for the fact that our bodies are working yet again, allowing us the opportunity to live and server our great Lord.
