There are thirty-six individual instances that God promises the land of Israel to the children of Israel in the Torah. David reviews promises mentioned in the book of Genesis. The second time God speaks with Abraham about the promise of the land is found in Genesis 13:14 & 18.The third time is found in Genesis 15:1-21.
