Lesson 3: Blessings of the Torah Part 3

Continues the discussion of that part of the morning prayer that deals with the blessing of 'chosenness' — that of being a chosen nation.  Gidon refers to this topic as one of the 'elephants in the room'.

Bob's Application:  This is an important lesson for us non-Jews, to understand how Gidon thinks about this topic, how Jews think about this with respect to themselves and others. I think he handles it with great sensitivity.

As far as a Christian application to this topic — one exercise for us could be to ponder the meaning of what Jesus said in Matthew 22:14.
