Lesson 6: Ninth Av Additional Stories

In this video Gidon Ariel tells two additional stories that will help Christians understand the perceptions of the Ninth of Av by Jews. He first explains the reference to Jerusalem being plowed like a field, and the story of Rabbi Akiva who laughed at the destruction of the temple. The second story is of Napoleon’s visit to Jerusalem during the 9th of Av.
