Now that the three blessings of the Torah are complete, and after reading the Torah for our first prayer, and from the Mishnah, we pray a prayer from the Talmud.

This prayer declares those things for which rewards are seen in this world, and yet the principles are also applicable in the world-to-come: honoring ones parents, acts of kindness, arriving early, hospitality, visiting the sick, and providing for a new bride as a community.
