Lesson 2: Your House a Meeting Place 2

Rabbi Adler finishes his commentary on Avot 1:4.   He explains that Yosi Ben Yoezer has a recommendation for us:  That we be the kind of people that desire the water of the Torah, as much as if we were coming off of a 25 day fast having had nothing to drink.

Bob's Application:  How wonderful to hear the use of the term 'water' as applied to the Torah. Paul write in Ephesians 5:26 that the role of our Lord is to cleanse the church by washing her by the water of the word. This week, let us visualize the hearing of the Word as a flowing of water over us, to wash and cleanse us.
