Yehuda Harel has been a long-time player in the story of the Golan Heights, and how it progressed from nothing more than a military buffer zone between Syria and Israel, to what is today a flowering and productive part of the nation.

It seems more than coincidence that the year the Yehuda wins the prize is the year in which the final step was taken by the Israeli government to declare that Golan shall forever be part of Israel, which is discussed in detail in the Root Source book Jubilee NOW, and the various Jubilee videos on this blog.
