The LIST is comprehensive, thoroughly researched, and almost overwhelming in its scope in revealing the depth and depravity of the sins of our Church forefathers. Reading through The LIST can be likened to attending a familiar and well-loved church for a long time, only to discover a staircase leading down to a previously unknown basement. As I walk down the stairs I am engulfed in darkness. What should I do? I could just go back upstairs and “ignore” the basement.
Instead, I look for and find the light switch (that is, I read The LIST).
