One of the things we have done over the years on Root Source, is to post interesting videos on various topics, and one of the topics we have covered in the past is the location of Mount Sinai.  The traditional site for Mount Sinai in the Sinai Peninsula, but this is a tradition that dates only back to the 4th century. Many have noted that there are much older traditions for the mountain in Saudi Arabia being what is today called Jebel al Lawz, east of the traditional site and across the Gulf of Aqaba.

Recently Joel Richardson has reported that the Saudi’s are getting close to being ready to open up restricted areas in Saudi Arabia to public inspection. In addition, Joel is trying to get a new film out with the best-ever footage, and he is doing it with full permission of the Saudi government. Hopefully that film will be released in 2020.  But while we wait, I would like to suggest the next best thing.

The video below has only been out for a year, is just 25 minutes long, and has over 2 million views. If you are interested in seeing evidence from the site in Saudi Arabia, this video has the best quality footage I have seen yet. If you are already familiar with the this topic, you won’t find a lot of brand new information in the video, but the footage is great.

If you are new to this topic, this wouldn’t be a bad place to start.  I’ve done a lot of reading/study on this over the years, and I didn’t notice them making any obvious errors. Of course the evidence is not complete, but I do see evidence mounting, not just from this rather brief video. Overall I would have to say that “the case” for Mount Sinai being in Saudi Arabia has strengthened so much in the last 10 years that its case is quite a bit stronger than the case for the traditional Christian site in the Sinai Peninsula. But, that is not the purpose of this film. They didn’t have the time or the budget to be fully balanced, and bring in experts from both sides. I see the main purpose of this film is to just SHOW you the evidence for the site in Saudi Arabia. It is in that context that I hope you see, and enjoy this film.
