I (Gidon) translated the Hebrew lyrics, which are not a strict translation of the English lyrics, but a poetic restatement of the famous poem “Footprints in the Sand” the the Hebrew producer thought was the right concept for this song in Hebrew. I wonder how aware he was about how associated with Christianity both of these works are?
