Weekly Torah Study: Kedoshim

Privacy – we all cherish it. Certainly there are things we don’t want others to see or hear or otherwise have access to. But parashat Kedoshim, with its constant inclusion of G-d’s name, “I am HaShem” attached to a wide array of commandments, reminds us that HaShem always has uninterrupted access to our deepest thoughts, and this is, in fact, a good thing, for it encourages us to be “holy, for I, HaShem, your G-d, am holy.” (Leviticus 19:2)
