Common sense. Some people have it. Some don’t. Sometimes it strikes us and solves what seemed an unsolvable problem. Sometimes it eludes us. Yitro, the father-in-law of Moshe, it seems, had lots of common sense and was happy to share it with Moshe, very likely saving Moshe and the entire people of Israel a lifetime of headache and heartache.
