Selective memory: even Moshe exhibited the phenomenon when, admittedly, forty years later, in recalling the creation of Israel’s judicial system, he failed to mention his father-in-law Yitro, who, in this week’s parasha, gave him the very salient advice which Moshe quickly and successfully adopted.
